Happy Father's Day, 2012

Let me start by saying I wish every Father out there a very Happy Father's Day!  I consider myself a VERY lucky girl... I have the BEST Father a girl could ask for and the most awesome Father for my kids, Richard.  They are both everything a Father should be and more, and most importantly they love their families more than anything.  Thanks Dad and Richard for being such great men!

Here is an interview I did with Grady (age 5) about his "Daddy"...

10.  Favorite thing to do?  play at the park, hitting balls, warming up and catching

12.  What does he like to do with you?  play and throw the ball to each other and play basketball
13.  Favorite music?  jazz
14.  What does Daddy say a lot?  Knock, knock.  Who's there?  Interrupting cow.  Interrupting cow--moooooo
15.  What funny thing does Daddy do?  when he swims he grabs my leg in the pool
16.  How do you know Daddy loves you?  because he plays with me every single day
17.  Why do you love Daddy?  He plays with me


Yesterday I made Daddy a Texas Sheet Cake for a Father's Day treat... does it count since everyone is getting to enjoy it?  Notice I made it half with nuts... I'm a no nut girl!  It was so yummy still warm...

This morning we all went in and gave Daddy his presents!  Love Daddy's enthusiasm... somebody couldn't wait until 8:30.  Sleeping in past 7:30 is a present in itself though!  A couple of weeks ago Daddy got his big present... a horseshoe set!  Today he got lots of little goodies and hugs, kisses and "cuddles" from the boys!!!

We ended up going to Tierney's Cafe and Tavern for a DELICIOUS brunch!  Let me tell you, if you haven't been before... give it a try.  It was soooo good and very reasonable.  Richard said it was the best brunch he had ever been to! SCORE!!!  Not to mention the kids were perfect during lunch and even after a half hour wait... another present for Daddy!

 There was a sweet older lady doing caricatures out front while we waited for our table... why not?  

Turned out pretty cute!  She did this in 5-10 minutes!

I personally think the lady looks JUST like me... HA!

This afternoon we plan to take long naps and Daddy is currently watching soccer and baseball...and I am not complaining about wanting to watch HGTV --  he is in heaven!
