One Word Wednesday

Just to mix it up a bit... here is a challenge for you fellow bloggers...  Post pictures and then use just one word to describe each picture.  This is going to be a hard one for me, but GREAT considering the time-factor this week.  Happy "one-wording"...  (okay, a dash doesn't count, right?!?)

Spring is HERE!

So Spring is here!  T-ball starts tomorrow (was supposed to start last week and then we had bunches of rain), and we spent TONS of time outside this weekend, doing "Springy" type things.

Friday night the Vaughn Family came over for some Mexican appetizers and playtime.  It had been a while since we had done that and we all had a great time, especially the kiddos!

Saturday, the kids and I went and bought some flowers to plant, well - just Grady and I planted.  Cole-Man wanted to eat the dirt... and rocks... and wood chips.  He does really enjoy the grass though.  He ran around like crazy out there this evening!

My roses are blooming and they look so pretty!

Grady helped me pick out the flowers and then he planted his own pot.
We planted in the front and back today, and he also found some new friends... a roly-poly and a snail!

Grady and I did some sidewalk chalk while Daddy mowed.

Poor little Cole has got a NASTY fever and so he was somewhat subdued today, until we have him some Motrin and back to normal he was!  Crossing my fingers that it will be gone tomorrow -- I hate it when my kiddos are sick!  I do however enjoy the extra snuggle time.

Trying to hide from the camera - I've got you!

Checking out the flowers, very carefully...

It's hard to believe that April is just around the corner...
which means SUMMERTIME here we come!!!

Just a Bib and a Diaper

I don't know about you, but there is just something so sweet about a baby in just a diaper.  I love looking at their rolls and chubby legs.   I love the feel of their soft skin and the way they smell (sans dirty diaper - ha!) and how it seems like they are happier in the buff!?!  Maybe it's just mine... a little 'Amen" here would help a Momma out please!

This morning Cole looked so sweet in just his diaper and bib that I couldn't resist a mini photo shoot.  Grady was thrilled as well... check out his response later on down the post - classic.

Cole had blueberry yogurt for the 1st time today and gobbled it up!

Ready for baseball season -- GO RANGERS!

 Always happy...
 Lovely...

Busy lil' guy, always!

He then got really interested in the door and the shadows it was making.

 And it's nap-time!

It's going to be a beautiful day here today.
Happy Spring!
