Shooting, Cheesecake and Silver Linings

With basketball practices being on Friday nights and Richard coaching, we haven't had a Date Night in a really, really, really long time.  In fact, I think it had been months... we couldn't even remember our last date... which is sad.  Well, Friday night we got a babysitter and hit up the town!  In fact, we didn't even get home until after 12:30 -- we decided that we might as well live it up, seeing that it might probably will be the last one until after tax season is over... in mid April.

It was so fun catching up with my honey!  We went to the shooting range... I shot a 22, which I liked a lot better than the grenade launcher  45 I shot last time.  I still don't think I will ever get used to how loud it is.  I'd also like it if everyone would wait and shoot until after I am done shooting - thanks.  I went for the heart, head and then a few other non-mentionables.  You never know...

Then drinks and dinner at Cheesecake Factory... and DESSERT... delicious Red Velvet Cheesecake.  Best. Cheesecake.  Ever.  Seriously, I could write a whole post on the cheesecake, and then the exercising I've been doing since - ha!

We then went to the movies to see Silver Linings Playbook... which was really good!  Not at all what I was expecting, but you left feeling happy... wrapped up with a pretty pink bow... which is the way I like to leave any movie.  It kinda makes you realize that everyone is screwed up, it's all in how you handle it and the people you choose to be part of it with.

Here's to many more Date Nights with the Hubs - love you babe!

  1. A date at the shooting range sounds fun! And you can never go wrong with The Cheesecake Factory!
