Kindergarten PTA Performance

I am in serious disbelief that my "baby" is old enough to be performing at the PTA Meeting, let alone 10 weeks away from being a first grader.  My goodness, it goes by in a blink.  Anyway, tonight was great!  Cole and I took Goose to Mooyah Burgers for a yummy dinner and then Grady and I headed back up to school for Kindergarten's performance.

It was so super cute.  I mean who can't smile from ear to ear hearing those sweet, off keys voices singing the wrong words?!?  Grady's class was in charge of the "Flower Mound" part so they all made flowers to hold up during their part.

Funny story...  Grady was very proud of his singing, but not happy about wearing the red, white and blue collared shirt with buttons on the neck.  "Nobody will be wearing a shirt like this mom."  "Yes, they will... everybody will honey."  As the kids started to arrive I realized I was wrong... half of them did not, although most from his class did.  I am still waiting for the next time Grady is assigned to wear something and he gets to remind me of this small fact.  And he will, his memory is just like his fathers...  Hey, it's not my fault the other parents don't read the note, and just because they don't doesn't mean we will ignore the note either buddy.  Take that.  Yep, I even have to "win" the argument with the 6 year old.  :)

All kidding aside, they were so precious... and it was another one of those milestones.  Sniff, sniff.

Have I mentioned this week how much we LOVE his teacher?!?
