Open House 2013

Open House was the Thursday before Spring Break... and also the same night we flew out for a trip to visit Mimi and Papa in Utah.  Needless to say, it was a really crazy day!  Everything got done and even with time to spare.  I just happen to do best under pressure... good thing!

I just loved getting to see all of Grady's work.  He's just two doors down from me, so I see his work all the time, but it was so surreal to see my actual kids stuff out and on display.  For 14 years I have spent blood sweat and tears getting ready my classes work, and now getting to appreciate it from the other perspective was awesome.

Grady was so proud, all week he kept talking about it and telling me some things were a secret...  this kid loves school and learning!  I got the sneak peek and then Daddy and Cole came up for the tour before all of us heading to the airport.

They had been doing projects on Texas and American symbols...

A circle map all on his own!
I love this invitation he wrote to Cole...

His sticker story... all by himself!

 The regions of Texas
"A boulder rolling on the moon" in math
Two journal entries he wanted to show me...

 His locker tag
 His favorite center... shocker... Legos!
Great job on all of your hard work Grady - we are so proud of you!!!
