The Finish Line...

So we are nearing the finish line of tax season and the school year... only 2 more days until we have our Daddy back and 7 more weeks of school!!!!!  (Don't get me wrong, I love my job, teaching, the kids, families, my team... it's just all the other stuff that goes along with it.  Can I just teach?  -- I'll save this rant for a different post)  This past week has been a blur.  I'm going to spare you the details because this borders along the line of "moderate-to-severe" whining about minor and insignificant tidbits compared to real-life problems.  In a nutshell - play, work, T-ball, allergies (both kids), Dr. appt., no sleep, T-ball, daddy getting home after midnight, prep for a teacher luncheon, T-ball Opening Day and Pictures, birthday party... and then all the other normal c.r.a.p. that we have every week.  I seriously do not know how single parents do it.  There - out of my system!  Thank you for not judging.

Moving on...  Here are some pictures from all of our fun this past week/weekend.

T-Ball      

 Sweet Cole wanted to get down and run around but with his allergies (or a vicious chest cold I'm thinking now) acting up and it being so dry and windy he had to stay in the stroller or with Grammy the whole game.  :(

 Grady got to play pitcher this weekend and he had the best time.  So many balls got hit to him and he fielded 90% of them pretty well and threw them to first or ran it home to attempt to make an out.  

I was so proud of him and more importantly he was so proud of himself!

It was fun and brought me back to the days of my T-ball/Softball years.

Birthday Party

One of Grady's favorite "girl" friends from school had her birthday party at Winkids this weekend.  What a fun place to have a party!  He had such a good time running around like a crazy kid for 1 1/2 hours... and that was after a morning of T-ball.  He has some serious energy!

 It's now Sunday morning and raining outside.  I'm not gonna lie.... still in my pajamas and G is playing Wii while Cole sleeps - and it's 11:00.  Guess it's going to be a day inside, but I don't mind so much when I have these two sweeties to enjoy it with!
