We woke up, Grammy Elaine joined us and we spent the day at the pool- I'm talking 6 hours. They had contests, a DJ, and a big inflatable water slide. The kids were in heaven!
Cole was all smiles until Daddy took him on the scary water slide... Oops! Traumatic... Good thing we had chips for lunch to save the day- Cole's food of choice!
Grady even won the dance contest and got 3rd in the swim race. He got lots of fun prizes and spent lots of time playing with a neighborhood friend.
We also came home for some play and a yummy dinner... Bacon avocado burgers grilled by Daddy, grilled corn, PW baked beans (to die for), salad, fruit and Grammy's potato salad, cookies and peach pie! Delicious!!
Buzz and Woody have gotten lots of playtime lately...
After dinner we played at the park and enjoyed some more awesome weather.
Cole and Grammy stayed home while Grady, Daddy and I went to UNT's Apogee Stadium for a wonderful fireworks show!!
It was a perfect day and night! Happy 4th of July!!
