Sunday Funday, Courtesy of the Texas Rangers!

Daddy was awesome enough to get all 4 of us tickets to the Sunday afternoon Rangers game against the Mariners.  This was our first game of the season and being the huge Ranger fans we are, the afternoon game meant lil Cole would miss his nap anyway and so we decided to just spend the whole day at the ballpark.  Daddy figured that gates would open at 12, 2 hours before game time, and we might have a chance at seeing some players up close and personal and it would also give G the chance to watch warm up and batting practice.

I LOVE this picture of the four of us even though Cole wasn't feeling pictures!
We got to see LOTS of warming up by both teams and then we also got to see some pitchers VERY up close and personal...

 My little boys
Grady got autographs from Robbie Ross and Yu Darvish!!!
It was really, really cool to be that close...
I'm not sure if Daddy or Grady was more excited!

After pre-game fun we found our seats and loaded the kids up with snacks.  Every good parent knows snacks are the key to any chance of happiness... esp. missing naptime... of your 2 YO.  We even pulled out the big guns... we brought gummies AND bought popcorn.  Ha!

My 3 favorite boys!

Cole was sooo happy to feed us popcorn.
This entertained him for at least 5 minutes of our 6 hour day!
Little stinker in his hat - he kept ripping it off every chance he got!

My goofball!
Cole kept either pretending to sleep or was really trying to get comfy on the cement floor under our seats with the peanut shells, old gum and popcorn.  Nice...
 "No, mommy, no hat!"
Daddy took Grady to the Kids-zone for some play and to get our lunch!
Grady won this batting helmet, baseball cards, a pencil and a program.
We LOVE free stuff... well, kinda free stuff because you pay to get in!

Another highlight of the game was Nelson Cruz's grand slam and there were another few home-runs as well.  The final score was 11-3, Rangers win!!!  A win for our team always makes it more fun!

Since Grady is a Junior Ranger he was able to run the bases after the game.
Cole was O-U-T...
It was a long wait in line, but well worth it to be down on that beautiful field!

 Touching home-plate!
The weather couldn't have been better, it was just a beautiful day!
We are looking forward to many, many more Ranger games as a family of four... just maybe before or after naptime - HA!

2 Birthday Parties and 2 Games

This was an action packed weekend!  It all started off with Jackson's 5th Birthday Party at Paradise Pond.  Super fun for all and everybody came home nice and tired and sweaty!  Katie, Michelle and I went out for a last minute girls evening... wine, and a cheese, fruit and dark chocolate platter - YUMMO!

Saturday morning we started with a soccer game...

 My goofball

Cole was thrilled... Can't you tell?!?
 2 AWESOME goals!!!
Then continued on to a baseball game...
goose got two really good hits!

 Grady played second and pitcher
He got lots of action at pitcher and made some really good plays

Running it home for an out!

After baseball G and I went straight to another birthday party for one of Grady's friends from school.  It was a lego pool party and the kids had a super time!

It was a really fun but super busy 24 hours!  Makes me want summer here faster every day...
