Chugga-Chugga, Choo-Choo -- Northpark Trains!

Today we ventured out of the house to see the Trains at Northpark.  It's a great cause, inexpensive, something to do inside on a cold day and so much fun... especially when you have a Thomas the Train obsessed little boy!  Grady remembered going last year, and actually asked when we were going to go again this year.  Remember this?

They've grown a lot in a year... and Cole was much easier on the back because he ran around on his own!  Apparently I need a new scarf...

Cole ran around like crazy saying "choo-choo" and "chain, chain" and when he wasn't running he plopped himself right down on the lower window with "Thomas" and gazed.  It was so fun to see him so excited!  Grady liked Thomas at this age, but Cole LOVES him!

We also walked around some to get our energy out.  G had to have a pic in front of the polar bear in Anthropology. I LOVE that store for other reasons!

It wouldn't be a trip to Northpark without a running up the wall and sliding down session...  I wonder how many kiddos bust their chins open here?!?
Or a visit to see the ducks...

Or other cool statues and fountains...

We ended out trip with McDonald's (I wanted PF Changs so bad...Richard, take me there please) so Grady could get the newest Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtle toy, which is his latest obsession...  Not a bad day at all for the boys!  And, if they are having fun and happy, it's a pretty good day in my world!
