Can you tell he is thrilled?!?
Lots of excitement going on at the fair... here are some pictures less than an hour before Big Tex caught on fire -- eekk!
This was what he looked like later on... kinda scary if you ask me!
Richard said there were helicopters all over the place, but other than that, their day wasn't bothered at all. I'm glad he didn't take G over to see this... could have been a little traumatic!
They visited lots of animals...
This next picture is just after Grady got head butted by the baby giraffe - ha!
Grady also got a turn at farming...
Mimi, is he doing this right?
They went to a great dog show...
They ate some corny dogs and had delicious funnel cakes...
Grady participated in the junior stampede (or something like that)...
G also tried a Wipeout course... he was not impressed!
Riding some rides with Daddy...
What a super F-U-N day with Daddy!
G- I hope you know what an awesome Daddy you have, and how much he loves you. I think he was looking forward to this special day with you just as much (and even more) as you were!!!
Lots and lots of memories made.
The first thing Grady told me about the day was, "Big Tex burned down, he had an electrical fire."
Glad to hear that they are planning to rebuild him for next year!
