Popsicles Make Everything Better

The last few days have been pretty low key.  Poor Cole has had Hand, Foot and Mouth (a very common childhood virus where they have high fever and sores down their throat) which has made him very un-Cole like ... very cranky and not much of an appetite.  Throw on top of that major teething... like now we've got canines and molars coming in all at once and that can make for some major crankiness.  Grammy was nice enough to take off work to stay with him the last couple of days.  Today I got to snuggle some with him and I think he is on the mend.  Crossing our fingers for no fever tomorrow!

At school Grady's teacher has been reading them Where the Wild Things Are.  Grady has loved this story and came home wearing this the other day.  I LOVE that he LOVES books!  Notice he wrote "Gray" on his mask because he told me that's what I call him.  Sweet boy!  That... or he forgot the "d" and came up with a good story to go along with it!  HA!  Does he not look SOOOOO grown up here?!?

Grady had T-ball again today and got some great hits!  Here is one I took with the iphone.  How did we live before this phone?!?

Tonight we decided to have popsicles after dinner... outside... because there should be a law about eating popsicles inside with small children!  This was Cole's first adventure with popsicles, and we thought it appropriate since he is only wanting to eat soft, mushy, cold food.  I have to say, it was a success!

For those of you following my countdown...
Only 18 more days of school til SUMMER and I get to be with these
precious boys for 2 1/2 months!!!
We might just have popsicles every day...
