Funny little tidbit -- I called my mom to gripe and she reminded me that being sick on party day would have been much worse. She also remembered my brother, Craig being sick on his 5th birthday party day and they had to call everyone and cancel. Hopefully this isn't a family thing...!
Anyway, Sunday during the Super Bowl Grady got that glassy-eyed look and started running fever. Today (3 days later) he hasn't had fever in like 30 hours, so cross your fingers that we are on the mend. However, he has been left with a nasty cough, yucky nose, etc. Poor kid. He was sooooo sad about not being able to go to school and wear his birthday crown. Hie teachers are so sweet... they emailed me each day to see how he was and also wanted me to tell him that they had his crown waiting for him upon his return. Phew, that just made his day. I have to say Richard and I both had lots of fun getting to spend time with Goose, even with him being sick. Lots of snuggles and movie watching in PJ's is the way to go.
At the Dr.
Here are some pictures of our "fun"... he still looks pretty stinkin' cute, sick and all.
