Christmas Day!!!

So R and I were up VERY late getting everything ready for Christmas morning (if you catch my drift)!  Jerry and Val had to leave very early so he could get back to work, but Grammy stayed the night so she was here for all of the Christmas morning excitement!  Grady was up bright and early - 6:45 - and ran in to see his Santa goodies.  Look at the excitement on his face when he saw... the new motorized jeep, fish from Cabela's and Cars 2 stuff!!!

I think he was a little in shock!
He didn't ask for the jeep so it was a complete surprise!
My mom always thought it was fun to pick out something for us that we had no idea we would be getting... and I thought it would be fun to carry on the tradition!
We went in and got Cole up as well, and the boys proceeded to open their stockings and Santa presents.  Cole needed a little help, but had fun checking out all of his new, shiny and NOISY toys!

I just LOVE my lil man... he had asked for Scotch Pop-Up Tape a while back and so when he got it out of his stocking he said, " I asked for this for you Mommy, so you can tape stuff easier!"  Made my heart happy....

Sweet Cole loves the Jeep too... well, sucking on and chewing on it!

Grady was a big help when opening Cole's presents...
He has also been a "big" help with playing with Cole's toys since then!?!
 Marble Roll from Grammy

Cars 2 Sticker book... a favorite this year for sure!
We could've just wrapped up some boxes this year for Cole and he would've been satisfied!

Cole has enjoyed chewing and sucking on his Green Lantern and Superman Little People
Grady sat in his jeep off and on all day!
He read books, watched TV, etc. while the battery charged
Santa forgot the battery needs to charge for 18 hours before the first use...

This is the craziest most annoying loud and obnoxious dog you have ever seen!
When you pet him or pull on his leash he barks and yips...
but when you stop he does it as well to get your attention!?!

 This picture cracks me up!
It looks like Cole is shushing Grady while driving and G is just ignoring him!

I made a yummy Christmas breakfast of sausages, eggs and cinnamon rolls.  We ate and then the kids finished opening the rest of their presents.

Finally the battery is charged and ready for a drive!
Grady was just SOOOOOO excited!

The kids spent the rest of the day playing and just having a wonderfully relaxing time!

It was such a great Christmas Day for our family of four and we were so glad to share it with Grammy as well!
