"Happy Christmas Eve, Eve"

If you watched Friends (one of my all time fav TV series) then you know which character said this phrase! Being that today was the eve of Christmas Eve, and a day off work and school for Momma and her energetic boys, we had to do something to celebrate (and get out of the house but stay inside because of very cold temps)!  The Trains at Northpark was an excellent idea from Daddy and so by about 8:30 we were off!

We stopped at Chick-fil-a (of of G's favorites) for some breakfast and then were on our way.

Since we got there early, there was plenty of time for exploring the mall before it got too crowded.  Your favorite stop was the duck/turtle pond - not because of the really cool indoor pond WITH animals - but because of the slanted wall that kids run up and then slide down like penguins!!!

We also window shopped and I got some last minute present ideas from the Disney Store.  Grady, you liked looking at all of the really cool decorations and artwork scattered all throughout the mall!

When we finally got to the Train exhibit you were very excited!  The trains were just amazing.  I can't imagine the man hours that goes into something like this ... but it is impressive!  Here are some pictures:

We had just a super time today!  I pretty much have fun doing anything, as long as it involves my two sweet boys!!! Happy Christmas Eve, Eve!!!
