The kids and I flew to Utah to visit Mimi, Papa and Craig and Daddy came out to join us a few days later. We always love our summer trips to Utah because we get to escape the heat for a bit. We spend every possible second outside... and it's heaven!
We did all kinds of things. Craig shot the BB gun with Grady behind the house.
Grady cut up some dead branches and helped make a fire for s'mores a few times!
We hiked up to Timpanogus Cave National Monument.
It was a really tough hike up a couple miles but totally worth it. The caves were awesome.
We also got to see a real live Great Basin Rattlesnake sunning himself.
We saw some beautiful sunsets.
Uncle Craig and Papa taught the boys how to fish.
We played on the patio for hours.
We watched the hummingbirds.
We ate at the best hamburger and shake joint in Utah.
We went to the Utah Natural History Museum.
We took a full day trip to Arches. It was AWESOME! Grady absolutely loved it and I think Cole liked it too. The drive was beautiful! I apologize in advance for all the pictures...
On the way home we saw the prettiest rainbow.
We rode horses through the mountains.
We went to Provo River Falls and hiked through the waterfalls.
We also played games, watched baseball ate yummy food and took naps. I read 2 really good books. We watched shooting stars and enjoyed the cool, dry air. We laughed and snuggled and enjoyed every second together. Thanks Mimi and Papa for a wonderfully relaxing trip!
