Happy 8th Birthday Grady

Grady,

It's almost impossible to believe you are turning 8 today at 5:36 pm.  It seems like just yesterday I held you for the first time, you said your first word, learned to walk or throw a ball, and became a big brother.  You've grown up in a blink and are now writing stories, hitting home runs, playing Mario Cart and in the 2nd grade.
You've grown and changed so much, yet you still are that same little boy in so many ways. You are wild and full of energy, bossy and ultra competitive.  You love the outdoors, animals and all sports.
You're smart and creative and a deep thinker and questioner.  You have a sensitive heart and hate for anyone to be upset with you or sad in general.  You love reading, playing on the iPad and playing with Cole.  You love school, learning and your teacher.
Your favorites...
Book:  Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Movie:  The Hobbit
Food:  Steak
Teams:  Rangers, Cowboys
Toys:  WiiU, balls, Transformers, Minecraft, TMNT
TV Show:  Sports, AFHV, TMNT
You weigh 73 pounds, are 56 inches tall, wear a size Medium shirt, 10 pants and size 6 shoe.  You are getting so tall!
You're playing basketball this winter and flag football and baseball this spring.  You also love swimming, golf, and snow skiing.  You keep begging us to try snow boarding... We'll see!
You still give us lots of love and snuggles and you are a wonderful big brother to Cole.  You love your family and told me the other day you don't ever want to grow up and move away.  I'm ok with that.

I love you more than ice cream and guacamole Goose.
Happy 8th Birthday!

Love,
Mom
