The other day Cole walked around INSIDE for a hour with these sunglasses on. Everyday he screams in the car that the sun is hurting his eyes... yet refuses to wear the sunglasses.
This was Cole after I took the first picture. "No more Mommy!" Nice...
Baseball season is in full swing and this season Grady is on the Diamondbacks. Same 5-6 players and coaches but we are actually playing in our correct age group. Can I get an amen?!? Ha! Richard's coaching again and the team is fun! Grady's playing really well and enjoying himself much more. We've won one game and lost 2 so far, but both of our losses were so close (which made it feel better) even Grady said, "That's ok. Losing makes you tougher!" Is it possible we're growing up?!?
Daddy's nearing the end of tax season and so he's been working crazy hours. One morning I took the kids to see Mr. Peabody and Sherman. It was super cute! Cole would watch the rest of us laugh at parts and then laugh really loud and scream out, "That was so funny." I can't figure out sometimes if I want to squeeze him and hug him or smack him... This age is so funny, yet exhausting! Grady and I just shake our heads and laugh.
We met Daddy for dinner one night last week and these boys couldn't get enough of him. Everybody loves Daddy!
My flowering almond that was dug up from 3 different houses, originally from my Grammy Hulda's farm-house, is blooming right now and it makes me smile.
Grammy loved a lot of things, and she really loved her flowers... and then when I was planting my spring pots this butterfly was hovering constantly. Such simple beauty! It made my heart happy and sad at the same time.
Rangers opening day was Monday and the boys obviously had to sport their gear! Go Rangers!Grady had his field trip to The Dallas World Aquarium last week and he had the best time. Have I mentioned how much I love being able to experience this with him?!?
Yep, that's Grady at the top!
It's been some crazy busy and fun last few weeks. How long til summer??!
