Cole's very favorite things include playing outside and Lightning McQueen, so we decided to keep it very low key and have our/his friends join us at the park for an afternoon of playing and a picnic. We ended up picking the most beautiful spring day! I think it was about 75, sunny and breezy. Fort Wildflower is a new great park, especially good for the littles.
The kids were happy to play and the moms and dads chased and blocked the only entrance/exit.
Mrs. Stephie has 6 kids, 5 boys and one sweet girl, Ella. We are good friends with almost everybody and have been for years, so it's super fun whenever we hang out. 4 of the boys are all within 1 1/2 years of each other... can you say Crazy-loud-fun! (Ava and Ella couldn't make it, but we love them too!)

After lots and lots of playing we had our picnic dinner. We had pizza, grapes and strawberries, cheese sticks, carrots, gummies and cookies. Cole ate cookies, gummies, cheese sticks and strawberries. Hey, it was his birthday!
Cole was so cute and shy when everybody sang to him... but when we were done he clapped and yelled, "Yeah, Coley!"
We feel so blessed to have such great friends and that our kids have such great friends as well.
We even ran into some friends from school!
Life is good!
