4th of July Fun!

We had over the Vaughn Family and the Rabaduex Family for some 4th of July fun!  These are some of our very favorite friends and while it's often sometimes a little crazy, we always end of laughing a bunch and having a great time. 

First, playtime...

 We ate some first...the kids table!

Then was time for water / sand play...

Oh my goodness... sweet Cole was covered in sand, wet sand!

 They all took turns taking diving leaps into this $24 piece of white-trash H-E-A-V-E-N -- thanks Walmart!  I have a feeling we'll get LOTS of use out of this bad-boy this summer...

Lastly, fireworks!!!
We decided that we could have "real" fireworks at home instead of staying up til 11 with kiddos who were already starting to melt-down...

 I stopped at the fireworks stand and spent $5.00.  

The kids were in heaven...

Poppers, sparklers, dancing chickens and smoke bombs... oh yeah

 I think the big-boys would have had a great time with some more "elaborate" fireworks...

My little firework - I'd say that's an appropriate nickname...
