Spring is in the Air...

So officially it's NOT spring... not for another few weeks but we are acting like it is around here!

(This was dug up from Grammy Hulda's house, put in the yard at our old house, and then transplanted in our new yard and LIVED!  I LOVE this shrub!!!  I think of my Grammy every time it blooms.  Her bush died so this is that last of it.  If I remember correctly, hers came from the old farm house - mom, am I right?)

 Getting out a little energy by helping Mommy!

I dumped out last years' potting soil and told G he must destroy it... he was in heaven! 

I am just itching to go to the Arboretum for Blooms...  

We usually go with Mom when she comes for Spring Break.  

This year I am taking the kiddos BY MYSELF to Utah to spend the week with Mimi and Papa while poor Daddy is stuck at home working 70 hours a week :( Boo!  

G is looking forward to skiing with Papa and I am looking forward to nap times, snow-play, meals made by someone other than me, fires in the fireplace, snuggling with the kids and my own Momma, reading, sweatsuits and no makeup,  and 7 hours of sleep a night!
