A Whole Lot-a-Fun!

This weekend went by just as fast as the others... and we had a whole lot-a-fun!

We had another t-ball game Saturday....

Grady got quite a few hits and the team did great despite there being only 7 of them!
The good news was they all got to hit a bunch of times.  :)  I do think he enjoys himself, but he is still a 4 year old who likes to sit in the outfield and pick grass and enjoys snack more than the actual game!

Speaking of baseball... our own TEXAS RANGERS clinched the American League Championship this weekend (by beating the Detroit Tigers) and are going to the World Series.  We are Rangers fanatics in this house so we are just super excited!!!

We also spent the morning today at Cabela's.  Grady always enjoys Cabela's and Richard has to be dragged out... I figure Cole is on his way to liking it as well considering he sat wide eyed in the stroller for an hour and a half today not making a peep just staring at the dead animals, aquarium, etc.

I figure being the only girl in this house (other than the dog) I either need to learn to enjoy it or find an alternate activity during the boys trips to Cabela's... possibly a pedicure, shopping, heck - even a nap sounds lovely!  Ah, the possibilities are endless...

Tonight the boys took their first bath together.   We have been waiting until Cole could sit up really well and, well he can now.  They had a great time and Grady was a really good big brother to Cole.  He kept handing him toys and was very gentle.  I LOVE my big boy!  (and my little guy as well)

I'm so sorry but aren't little rolly baby buns the cutest?!?

Grady did LOTS of writing this weekend.  My little boy is growing up!

Check out his picture of two dinosaurs (Brachiosaurus and Spinosaurus) and his writing.... all by himself.  He was sooooo proud!  He can write almost anything I spell for him and can write "Mom, Dad, Grady and Cole" on his own.
I thought this was so weird / interesting?
Cole was very quiet this evening so I went looking for him...

I found him sitting straight up staring out the back door at Molly, our golden Retriever.  They were just both looking at each other, for a long time.  It was bizarre!  Cole LOVES the dogs and is VERY interested in them right now... so maybe he was confused as to why he couldn't touch her through the door?  Just a guess on my part?  I would love to be able to read their minds... that is Cole and the dogs!
Or anyone for that matter now that I think of it.... hmmmmm!

Last thing...
Last week I took the boys to the park one night when Richard had to work late.  Grady LOVES the park and would go every day if possible.  It is so easy for me because he can do everything with me just watching now, except monkey bars and swinging himself.  Well Mr. Cole had his first swinging experience (with me there) and he LOVED it! Mimi and Papa took him once as well and said he loved it so I had to see for myself!
The pictures are dark and with my phone so not fabulous.
Don't you worry, I'll get some more good ones later.
I'm sure we'll have many, many more fun trips to the park together!
