Well, if you have a little one in your home right now then you know exactly how many days are left until Santa comes to visit. At our house it is part of many daily conversations.
Is that our chimney where Santa will come?
Will he get dirty when he lands on the wood?
What if the fireplace is on?
Will Santa find us at Mimi and Papa's house?
Is Santa watching me now?
What about now?
Did he see that?
Is the Santa in our yard magic too?
Are the reindeer invisible?
How do they fly?
And so on, and so on.... I have to tell you I was not prepared for all of the questions and in wanting to answer them perfectly most of my answers were questions right back to him... "Well, Grady what do you think?" I should have been more prepared knowing how Grady is. He's a questioner by nature, he studies and examines things and asks questions constantly. He has been like that since birth. I LOVE that about him and he is so much like his Daddy in that respect. I hope he never loses that quality!
This weekend we spent most of our time getting more and more excited for Christmas to come. A little last minute shopping, Richard's work party, breakfast with Santa at the Club with Grammy Elaine , Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro and finally to see Megamind in Southlake.
Grady and Daddy snuggling with Panda!
Just thought this was cute...
And Daddy thought this was cute....
Earlier in the week Grady threw up at Steph's house so Daddy stayed home with him on Thursday. It turned out to be a 30 minute virus or maybe just coughing during lunch? Either way, they had a wonderful day at the park and Cabelas! They wore matching ccamouflage...
Grady and (a very excited looking) Santa
I LOVE this picture... Grady is checking him out!
Cupcake after a yummy breakfast!

Santa's Wonderland at Bass Pro Shop
Racing cars
Shooting... they hit the bulls eye with their very first shot!
Riding the reindeer carousel
Making a snowman ornament at the craft table
Posing in front of a polar bear with Grammy
A short ice cream break...
Checking out the trout...
Posing with his "kill" ... just kidding... stuffed bear at Bass Pro. Grady wasn't quite so sure about this big guy at first. He kept saying "It's eyes are open.... are you sure it's dead?"
The weekend was super fun and relaxing. I even got in a two hour nap on Saturday and Richard and I had our first date in months.
We're left looking forward to a busy upcoming week and more Christmas fun!!!
