August Trip to UTAH

Where to start.... well, I'll start by saying that no matter where we are or what we are doing we always have fun when we are with family. I'll add now that if you haven't been to the mountains in Utah you are missing out! Mimi and Papa have a mountain house in Heber City and it is beautiful no matter what time of year we go there. Snow and skiing in the winter and cool, dry air and gorgeous landscape in the summer(highs in the low 80's instead of 110 like in Dallas). Not to mention wonderful hospitality, cooking, museums, parks, scenic drives, waterfalls, a farm, horse rides, a rodeo, etc. This trip was extra special because Uncle Craig came from Miami and Great Grammy Hulda was there as well! Here are just some pictures of our fun:

There was nature everywhere we turned... a hawk, deer, elk....

The rodeo carnival... the slide was the biggest hit! Papa and Daddy had as much fun as you did!

The man running it thought you were so cute he kept letting you ride for free!

The teacups were so fast... we had to wait in a long line because someone had thrown up just before our turn... gross!!! You loved it... the big guys thought it was a little much!
