End of Summer

We spent the last week or so of summer doing all the last things we wanted to do, and a few little have-to-dos!

We dropped a few things off at school and later that night I discovered close to 50 selfies Cole had taken with my phone.  Crazy boy...

We played and played and played and most days stayed in our pajamas until close to noon.
I tried a new recipe and it was delicious!
We discovered Cole loves Panda Express!  Check out the rice on the floor.
We went to sliders and fries night at the club and these two had a serious talk...
We swam at Tiffany's house- sadly no pictures.

We finally made it to the Perot Museum- so much fun!

 Dino IMAX
Building cars
Rocket launching
Obviously he had a little help from mom

Cole and Grady absolutely loved the Build It area!  They would have spent 2 more hours there if I let them.  Cole ran around doing everything like a crazy-man without a care in the world and Grady wanted his car and rocket to be perfect, in every way.  Such a perfect example of their personalities.

Cutest lil paleontologist ever!
Digging for dinosaur bones

Rockin out
We went with Drew to Trophy Clubs water park... It was awesome!  The boys had a blast.

Baseball practice started and Grady had a few different friends over...
Finally, Grammy Elaine offered to stay with Cole so we could take Grady out for a back-to-school treat.  We went to Academy, Mi Dia and had Bahama Bucks.  He loved the time with just us and I'm sure Cole enjoyed his time with Grammy Elaine too!
It's been a wonderful summer.  Even with Daddy's knee surgery, we had the best time.  We did a lot of pajamas and resting.  We played and watched movies.  We swam, a lot!  We made the best out of a stinky situation and learned that family and taking care of others is what's most important.  Life is good!  Can't wait for summer 2015... may there be no surgeries involved!

  1. Amen! Looks like the Perot added some cool things since I was there last! It's going to be a great year!
