Catch-Up

I've been pretty bad about picture taking lately... life has been kinda crazy-busy!  

Here's what has been going on...

We celebrated our beloved Stephie and took our annual couch picture.  We just LOVE this lady!  I think we need to keep having babies so we never have to leave her...

We watched cardinals build a nest, lay eggs, guard the eggs and feed babies until one day they were gone.  I seriously was obsessed!  I'm hoping the birds were moved to a safer place and our Molly didn't have anything to do with their disappearance!  

I took these two crazy boys from my class for ice cream at Culvers for winning my auction with the highest bid- we also won the awards for loudest and grossest- ha!!  It worked out well since they're also friends with Grady.  He's also loud and gross so...

My gift for Mother's Day from Richard was a Spa morning with friends and lunch... It was heaven!!  Thanks babe!

Cole's latest fav thing to do is take selfies with mommy... He makes us do different faces/poses.  This is excited.

Attractive... I know!  This is sad.

Speaking of attractive... I swear he's the cutest 3 year old ever!  Especially since he's only screaming at me a couple of times each day now!  Yee-haw- progress people!

Never too big to snuggle up to mom!

He looks thrilled, doesn't he!  Ha!  Not a super big fan of selfies but he's also been living with a messed up knee for a few months.  Poor guy- we'll see what the MRI says.  :-(

I'm also realizing the beauty of hats... I plan to do a lot of hat wearing this summer.  Not only does it cover my unfixed hair, but paired with sun glasses hides my unmake-upped face!  Win-win!

We took Grammy out to Babe's Chicken for her birthday.  Aunt Lana joined us as well.  We had a great time!

We spent Memorial afternoon at the pool after the sun finally came out.  The kids are already growing their gills- bring on summer!

School and Mother's Day

Last week was Teacher Appreciation Week at school all week and so it was filled with yummy treats, cards, lunches, snacks and flowers... I'm so very blessed!

 

Wednesday was Grady's Paw Publishing presentation.  He wrote an animal facts book called, Did You Know? Animal Facts.  They published it for him, he read it to the class and got a couple prizes for his hard work.  He decided what to write, researched it on line, read books and illustrated it all by himself.  We are super proud of our little writer!

Friday was Field Day!  The kids had so much fun.  Since Grady is in first too, this was the only picture I got... Snow cones! Yum!

Friday night we went out to Rosas and we ran into some of Grady's friends from school- fun times!  Luckily we were outside on their patio so we only scared a few people away with our loudness...

Sunday was Mother's Day and I was spoiled!  The kids got me flowers, balloons and donuts- a real treat!  I also got to sleep in- score!

Cole insisted on getting me a Lightning McQueen birthday card- silly boy!

We went to see the movie Bears and had lunch on the patio at Patrizios in the beautiful sunshine.  We also stopped to visit some cows...

During naptime I did a little shopping.  It seriously was the most perfect day- thank you Richard!

This was a project Grady made for me... LOVE that kid!  He was so proud.  

God truly blessed me with the best boys on earth!  I'm one lucky momma!
