We left Thursday night after Daddy got off work. We made a stop at Braums to stretch our legs and get a yummy ice cream treat!
All smiles for ice cream!!!
Thank goodness for electronic devices... Cole watched Cars three times and didn't sleep one minute of our 6 1/2 hour drive!
We stayed the night at Aunt Gayle and Uncle Ron's house and then the next morning headed up to see Great Grammy Hulda at the hospital. I think our visit perked her right up- she loved seeing the boys and they always "entertain" even when they're not trying to! We brought Mimi back with us and met up with Dad and everybody else!
The kids laughed and wrestled and we got all caught up!
Saturday morning the grandpas and dads golfed and took Grady and Brandon along for their fun! I'm sure the little boys learned lots about what not-to-do and say! Ha! Tucker and Cole had a play date while I got some sweet baby snuggles from Ava!
That afternoon the babies napped and the bigger kids went to the water slide- the Cool off Water Chute in Branson is a must! They had a great time!! That water slide has been there for 38 years- we used to go with the cousins when I was little!! Richard even had a great time!!
That evening was filled with lots a family time, swimming, playing whiffle ball, more wrestling and snuggling up to watch The Sandlot until late.
The next morning we all headed on over to Gayle and Ron's house for brunch and to see their new house. It's beautiful and out in the country with lots of land!
We also made a stop to see Great Grandma Speight. She was so excited to see the kids! It's pretty amazing that the kids have 2 great grandmas- 94 and 95... Very special!!
It was such a great trip- and we can't wait to go back again next summer!!
