A Wonderful Weather Weekend...

Well, you can tell from my post title that we had our first cool(when I say cool I mean just not 112 people) snap in years months where we actually got a "cold" front!  I have never seen the park so crowded.  It actually got down in the high 50's at night and only a high of 84 on Monday... which just happened to be Labor Day and a day off of school!!!  Wahoo!!!!!  We spent 2 days outside and had so much fun.  For those of you who don't live in Texas, this is a BIG deal - HUGE actually to not be profusely dripping and sweating and cursing everywhere you go get out of the 100's for a while.

Anyway, we went to a birthday party, over to a friends house for dinner and play, to the Grapevine Botanical Gardens and park for play, lunch at Twisted Root, T-ball practice, Cabela's and spent quite a bit of time outside too!

Since we were outside anyway, and had pretty scenery...
why not bust out the camera for some photos?!?
Richard and Grady could give me lots of reasons... urgh...
Moving on...

Okay, so here is a picture of Grady  (on left) from when he was Cole's age in the same pose... What do you think...???
It depends on the day for me as to whether or not I think they look alike...
Big boy is mostly sitting up now... and starting to crawl!
Time to baby proof...
First time in grass...
My BIG boy...
Lovin on Daddy
Tried Twisted Root for the first time... Y-U-M-M-O if you like hamburgers and don't mind paying a little more than usual for a hamburger.  It was SOOOOO worth it though!
Goose is obsessed likes pickles!
Baby Cole, not so sure...

I heart weekends, especially long ones with great weather!!!
