Grady held Cole for 15 minutes last night while I finished up dinner. This was a HUGE help and anyone who knows Grady knows that he never sits still for that long, unless he's eating! Ha! I am so thankful for his help. In the car yesterday Cole was a little fussy and G made up his own lullaby to calm him down... So cute! It was a twisted version of Rock-A-By-Baby... Anyway, life is good! 7 days til tax season is over and we have daddy back -- wahoo!!! He looks half asleep here... bless him!
(I LOVE this picture, doesn't Cole look terrified - ha! )
I have to say life with two (by myself) has been great so far. I was very nervous about this... G does go to the sitter during the day. (I am aware that -- this is ridiculous because I am a teacher and take care of 22 each and every day!) I am tempted to keep Grady home but he is 4, loves his friends and needs the routine and structure. Not to mention, he got us all to himself for 4 years, now it's Cole's turn for a few months at least! HA! Things will get crazy, I know. Cole is an infant and sleeps 18 hours a day... but, I am figuring it out and am proud of myself so far.
I also have managed to have dinner on the table each night since mom left, thanks to mom who froze a bunch of casserole type dishes while she was here... thanks mom! I did make homemade meatloaf tonight and seasoned potatoes. Anyway, baby steps. Either way we'll figure it out as it comes!
Have a blessed week everyone!
