Chuck E. Cheese...Happy 4th Birthday Grady and Brody!!!

Tonight we had Grady and Brody's 4th Birthday Party at Chuck E. Cheese!  Grady and Brody are very best friends.  Their birthday's are 10 days apart, they stay at the same Sitter during the school year and we live a few blocks away from each other... not to mention they like the same things and are the same size, etc.  The list goes on and on for how these two precious boys are alike!  Well, when Michelle mentioned that she was going to do Brody's birthday at Chuck E. Cheese we just had to join in on the fun considering Grady had mentioned wanting to go to Chuck E. Cheese only about 25 times in the last year and we were trying to figure out something fun to do for his birthday indoors since Jan/Feb is questionable for weather.

So here the boys are in front of the video screen being silly.  This was a favorite activity for all of the kids!
Watching Chuck E. Cheese sing some songs and dance around...
Here they are with their wonderful Sitter... Mrs. Stephanie!  They were so excited to see her there and we thought it was fantastic that she came for a little while to see the kiddos!!!  I LOVE this picture!
We will really miss her next year when we go to Pre-K... sniff, sniff!
Good thing we will still see her every day because Baby #2 will be taking Grady's place.
The boys with Jackson!
Now time for some super fun games with Daddy!

Here is sweet Kate, pigtails and all riding with a pretend Chuck E. Cheese...
And here is how she felt when the real Chuck E. Cheese came to the table to say hi... it was hysterical how much she did NOT like him one bit!

I needed an adult stroller about halfway through the party tonight!
Grady adores this precious baby... Ava's little sister.  He is constantly giving her hugs and loving on her... hopefully he will enjoy his own little brother as much as he enjoys Ella... one can hope!
Great Friends --Baby Colton, Jackson and Family... thanks for coming!
The famous one-eyed smile...
We SURVIVED!!!
It was a super-fun party filled with great games, yummy party food, presents, WONDERFUL friends and the best part... no cleaning up!

A ROOAARRRing Good Time!!!

So today we ventured to the Heard Museum in McKinney with The Vaughn Family!  On display was... DINOSAURS and the weather was beautiful so we just couldn't pass this up.  When I say the weather was beautiful I am not lying... 74 degrees and sunny in January is VERY rare in Dallas and it gave us a little taste of Spring... too bad the freezing rain and temperatures are back in a few days!
We started inside with the bugs, spiders and snakes.  The kids had a good time briefly looking at everything... mostly they couldn't wait to get outside, run around and find those dinosaurs!

Checking out a scorpion
How many bugs does it take to match your weight?
Sharing in the sandbox... sweet boys!
I wish you could have seen the looks on their little faces when we got outside and they first saw these dinosaurs... it was priceless!  Brody and Grady both want to be Paleontologists when they grow up so this was just their cup of tea!  (Actually, Grady told me tonight he wanted to be a cowboy and Paleontologist...)  :)
The dinosaurs moved and made noises... some interesting noises and my little potty-humor son thought one of them sounded like he was tooting... lovely!
Sweet Kate, Bro and Grady - All three, together!

And this one was pretty graphic.... obviously a meat-eater!
After a yummy picnic lunch, the kids had bunches of fun playing in the sandbox.  Well playing, throwing sand, eating it... whatever works!
It was a WONDERFUL day and fun was had by all!  I have a feeling it will be a bunch more fun for me late spring/summer when I am not 8 months pregnant and hiking around anymore!  My legs and feet are really feeling it tonight... but the huge smile on Grady's face makes it worth every second.  RROOAARR!!!
