July iPhone

July has just flown by.  I'm so sad to say summer is coming to an end... but we're gonna party til the very last second!

We had dentist appointments and Cole had three cavities... Yikes.  He got them filled the next day and didn't cry a bit.  It also helped I bribed him with a toy of his choice from Target!  Not sure how that happened but it really made me feel like a rockstar parent.  Grady still has none so I can't be that bad- ha!
This kid is obsessed with super hero anything!
These two have been friends for 7 years. Brody spent the night and then they went to baseball camp the next day.  They had so much fun.  I love that they're still friends.
Speaking of baseball camp - Grady rocked it on Tuesday with Camper of the day!
The Rabs have had us over lots of times to swim with friends.
Love him!
Told him to get ready for bed and this is what we got...
Drew came over to play.  These two are best buddies.  So sweet!
I've enjoyed extra snuggles.
This kiddo has taken over as jeep driver because Grady's legs don't fit anymore.

Lots and LOTS of snuggles!

Grady's sweet 2nd grade teachers had a swim party for the class- so fun!

I painted, distressed and waxed our entire bedroom set with Annie Sloan chalk paint... What a task!  It's done though and looks good.  I also painted the walls Sea Salt from Sherwin Williams- I love it.  More bedroom make-over pictures later.

Trophy Club with great friends!
We ended July with Ben and Jerrys- yum!
This kid can't eat without getting it everywhere- love him!

Missouri Reunion Trip 2015

Every summer we travel to Branson, Missouri for the annual Speight Family Reunion.  All the families stay in the same complex, and we stay in a large condo with mom, dad and Craig.  We don't do any of the typical Branson shows or anything... just lots of family time, putt-putt, go carts, Silver Dollar City, swimming, the Water Chute, and lots of late nights filled with yummy food and laughter.  The kids look forward to our trip all year long, every year and this year did not disappoint!

The drive is about 7 hours long and the scenery is beautiful!

After arriving and eating dinner we headed across the street for some putt-putt.

The next morning consisted of golf for some and Silver Dollar City for the rest of us.

Grady is a roller coaster pro!  Crazy kid!
A little wet after a water ride- love these ladies!

Sweet boy doesn't like the rides but does like the ball room and treats!

After SDC there was lots and lots of this...
The Water Chute is always a favorite!

Even Uncle Craig and Daddy participated!
Boys...

Go carts!
These 3 are within a year of each other.
A few kiddos were already gone but here are 9/14 great grandkids!
Can't wait for next year!

Rangers Game

Last weekend Daddy got us great seats to see the Rangers.  We didn't go last year at all (stinkin ACL) and Cole was so little the years before that we only went to a few games and most without Cole.

After testing it out at a couple Rough Riders games, we were all excited to share this fun with our whole family!
We got there early to get autographs from some hall-of-famers, some UNT Night hats and to see the Mean Green Mascot!
He was giving Grady a very hard time!

Side note- Cole was not happy with his muscle shirt because he said it "makes me look weak" ... Silly boy!
Our seats were so good.
Cole went with me before the game started to the Kids Zone and he loved it!
For July it really wasn't too hot and there was a nice breeze.

A nice kid offered to take a family pic- score!
This happened at about 10:30...
For memory purposes... Moreland got 2 homers and 2 different people ran out on the field and got arrested- lots of excitement!

We ended up losing but it was a "win" for a fun family night!  Can't wait to go back. Go Rangers!!!
